To ease the issue of browsing Live TV Channels among the enormous content available across multiple streaming platforms, Google introduced a new live TV experience. It offers more than 800 free TV channels clubbed together in an easy-to-use guide via multiple providers. The Live Tab is easily accessible on Google TV’s top navigation bar.

Google partnered with Tubi, Plex, and Haystack News in addition to Pluto TV’s existing lineup of channels. The Live Tab is a well-organized UI with channels divided categorically. In addition to the paid services, Google also added its own set of free built-in channels that are accessible without any app or subscription.
There’s content from around 10 different languages including Hindi, Japanese, and Spanish. It’s a great initiative from Google to align all the channels in such a great way. The users can also add Favourites to the Live TV guide and then can binge later on quite easily.
The new easy-to-use guide can also sort YouTube and Sling TV live channels if you have a Live TV subscription. It is available right away in the US across the Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV built-in devices from Sony, Philips, Hisense, and TCL.
