Google preparing On-Ear headphones; Coming Soon

Google is making a lot of hardware these days. Last Year in month of November, Google hosted hardware Day, where they announced the Pixel smartphone, the Chromecast Ultra dongle, Google Home, and more.

It seems Google is cooking something else for this year along with the new Pixel devices. Recently, The Google-branded on-ear headphones have been spotted out of the blue in a recent FCC filing.

As per the filing it is model numbered ‘GID5B’ and have a power button on One SIde. There are also chances that it includes Bluetooth but space about the microphone is not clear yet. There’s even a Google Logo on one side of the headphone. There’s a AUX connector with microUSB Port for charging of 600 mAh battery.

Well, it’s good to see some more hardware products from Google. But what’s the use of this standalone device? Already there are hundred of these are available from other companies. We are expecting something like Google Assistant, onboard memory, cloud sync and sync with phone device.
