Google has announced that Google Play has crossed 48 Billion Android App Downloads and about 2.5 Billion in just last month.
Speaking at Google I/O, Sundar Pichai announced that there has now been over 900 million device activation and However, Google can’t rest on its laurels. According to Pichai it will hit a Billion Devices in coming months or a year.
Pichai called the milestone “an extraordinary ecosystem achievement,” but joked “there are 7 billion people in the world, so we have a long way to go, and we think we’re just getting started.”
Earlier last year there were only 400 million activations only.
