After a long wait, Google has finally unveiled the Pixel 6a smartphone in India. In fact, after the Pixel 4a, this is the first Pixel phone in the country launched after two years. Google Pixel 6a features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The panel offers a punch-hole cutout, a 60Hz screen refresh rate, a 1080 x 2400 screen resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the phone runs the same Tensor chipset as the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. The processor is paired with a Titan M2 security co-processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. For software, it offers Android 12 out of the box. The company will provide three major Android updates and five years of security updates to the device.
On the optical front, the Pixel 6a carries a dual-camera setup at the back. The module consists of a 12.2MP main lens and a 12MP ultrawide unit. Additionally, it comes with OIS, EIS, and 4K 60fps video recording support onboard. At the front, there’s an 8MP snapper for selfies.
