Google+ now supports webcam updates

Google+ users who miss Facebook’s ability to post webcam updates now have the ability to do so on Google’s social network. Starting today, the Google will be rolling out the ability to record web camera video to post as updates on Google+. No longer will users have to go through the hassle of uploading a video onto YouTube and then sharing it on the social network – they can do it straight from their Google+ home page instead.
Unfortunately it’ll require Flash to activate your webcam, so for those of you who don’t have it on your computers, you won’t be able to use this feature. The update only started rolling out today and will take awhile before it reaches everyone – so don’t fret if you haven’t got it yet. And since you’re already on Google+, be sure to add GoAndroid to your circles so you can stay updated with all the latest news from our site.
