In a deal with Armonia, Google Music will add additional 5.5 Million new songs to its portal in Europe. Deal was signed on November 1st which covers 35 countries. The deal also includes British and US works from Universal Music and Latin works from Sony. These include works from artists like Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
Earlier this year Google Music was announced last year and later it was updated many times. Google launched without Warner Music Group as a content partner. But Recently Warner Music Group also gets attached with Google Music.
The availability of music in Google Play is actually a new concept in Europe, where the search engine giant just added the option last week.
“This will all be for free,” Google said. “Free storage of your music, free matching, free syncing across your devices and free listening.”
