Google is working actively to update its apps and services to provide the best experience. Recently, the software giant released new features to a bundle of its apps. Regarding the messaging service, the company added starred messages and end-to-end encryption to the app. Now, you will soon be able to pin your priority conversations.
Last month, Google started working to bring the ability to pin chats and to save a received topic for later retrieval. As a part of its summer Android update, the company is ready to roll out the pin conversation update to its users, In fact, some lucky users have already received the upgrade. Though, there are no words for the latter one.
Just like in WhatsApp, all you have to do is long-press on the contact conversation you wish to pin. Once pinned, the thread will appear at the top of your inbox followed by the other less important chats.
The new build is available for both Android 11 and Android 12 via beta version 8.3.026. After flashing the update, you can pin up to the three most prioritized conversations from your list for quick access. However, the new feature is limited to a server-side update as of now.
