Google maps have received their update to Version 7. The update brings a refreshed user interface into action. Now the update comes with a floating search bar on the top of the screen, which makes it easier for you to quickly type in a destination and search for the address for that particular location.
Coming to the navigation fairs they have been enhanced to recurve dynamic rerouting and live traffic updates. As Google has purchased the crowd sourced traffic waze app so this area of the service is expected to be continuously improving. Also the update would bring new tweaks to search for places to eat drink, sleep and etc. with more ear then ever before. Also it has a new design and the bottom bar had been eliminated in the new updated version. All this options have been shifted to the slide that slides in by taping on a tab on left of the screen.
But it is a bad news for gingerbread users as this update version of Google maps would only run in Android version 4.03 and above only. And as off now the offline maps and the latitudes have melt vanished now. However the update might still not be up on they play store.
