It seems that Android L is moving towards final builds as Google has posted new updated developer build for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7. As per the changelog the new build number LPV81C (up from LPV79) consists only small changes and updates.
From the changelog it brings the support for Google Fit platform, this new developer preview allows you to start developing fitness apps before Google Fit is officially released in Fall 2014. The preview release contains the Google Fit APIs for Android, but it does not contain the REST API or the Android Wear APIs, which will be included in the official release.
