Today Google made lot of announcements and did launch of Pixel devices. Few smart devices have also been launched which can control your home, phone and other tasks. Here is the Recap of Google Hardware Event 2016.

Google Pixel

Google Pixel devices, which have been in news in the form of leaks and rumors, have been launched. It is a powerful yet most smart device from Google. It packs Snapdragon 821 and come preloaded with Google Assistant. It have shakeless and most advanced camera preloaded. There are many new advancements, you can watch them over Announcement of Google Pixel Xl and Pixel.

Coming onto Availability:

For the first time, the Google smartphone will be available in the US from Verizon and Verizon alone, at least for a model purchased from a carrier.

The Google Pixel is now available for pre-order in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, and Germany, with India following on 13th October. Prices start at $649, or $27 per month with the usual two-year contract. And, amusingly enough, Google will be offering the Pixel in a totally new color of Really Blue.

Google Home

Google Home, which is fully Google Assistant Home manager smart device. It’s the stationary piece of Google’s AI plans to make the platform all about you. “The goal is to build a personal Google for each and every user,” CEO Sundar Pichai said.

Availability:

Google Home will cost $129 (with a free six-month trial of YouTube red) and go on sale on Google’s online store today. It will ship on November 4. It is available in white, but there are some other colors also: mango, marine, violet, carbon, snow, and copper.


Chromecast Ultra

Google today revealed the Chromecast Ultra, a new version of its home video HDMI dongle. Like last year’s Chromecast, the Chromecast Ultra plugs directly into the HDMI port of television sets and allows people to cast content from their smartphones and tablets to their TVs. The Chromecast Ultra supports HDR, 4K video, Dolby Vision, and ethernet.

Availability:

The Chromecast Ultra goes on sale in November for $69.


Google Wifi

Google Wifi offers modular, customizable home networking. Google WiFi is a system of access points you place around your house to guarantee an always amazing connection. The new Wifi router also acts as a low-cost alternative to existing OnHub offerings from ASUS and TP-Link. It’s definitely one of the cheapest options with the full gamut of modern wireless networking technology support, including AC1200 speeds, and Bluetooth connectivity for simpler set up and for making the mesh tech work.

Availability:

Google WiFi retails for $129, but you can get a 3-pack for $299. Pre-order next month and you’ll get it in December.


DayDream VR

Daydream is Google’s next step past Cardboard, the disposable VR headset it announced in 2014. The platform is included in Android Nougat, but will only be available on phones that meet certain specs, to be released over the coming months.

Availability:

Daydream View VR will be available from November for $79.
