Google Drive App Update Brings Faster And Easier Search

Google has rolled out an update to Google Drive Android App with some improved features like improved search and more. The latest update is live in the Play Store and sis now available for download.

Update has brought new search abilities like file type search. Now you can search your files using the extension name of the file. Advanced search is available with only one click. Overall, it is now faster and easier to search files in Google Drive app.

Other changes includes:

• Search for shared files by file owner using their name or email address.
• Use advanced search options like the date a file was modified, words it contains, or who it was shared with
• Access recent files or search Drive from the home screen using 3D Touch on iOS.
• Search Drive using the iOS search bar without opening the Drive app
