Last month, Google released the Chrome 91 in a stable phase. The build debuted with a whole new visual change to the websites and a bundle of minor changes for your surfing experience. Now, the software giant is updating Chrome with 91.0.4472.114 that brings new features, enhanced security accompanied by bug fixes.
Chrome 91.0.4472.114 addresses four security vulnerabilities including one high severity zero-day risk exploited in the wild. Talking about new features, the build brings NearBuy Share, new avatars, family reminders. Moreover, the Gallery app is replacing the Video Player with a new channel. Adding on to this, there are several bugs that are being addressed in this update.
The NearBuy Share enables the user to share files in no time between your Chromebook and other Chrome OS platform. Plus, this feature does not share the contact details of the sender and receiver, thus, enhancing privacy. Secondly, you can now see your video files in the updated Chrome OS Gallery app.
With the new variety of avatars introduced, you can update your account picture by heading to Settings > Personalization > Change device account image. Whereas, the Friendly reminder feature may not be available immediately, but will start rolling out in the coming days.
The new Google Chrome update will automatically make way to your browser when you launch the app. But if you can’t hold on, you can update it manually by navigating to Settings > Help > About Google Chrome.
