For Twitter it’s not new that Google is approaching for similar kind of deal. In 2009, similar deal was penned down between two companies but it was later scratched in 2011 due to some reasons. Now, it seems that deal will finalize between these two companies this time. Also, Twitter provides data to Yahoo! and Bing.
This week, Twitter announced that it had formed its first partnerships to show its advertisements — known as promoted tweets — on other apps. Twitter CEO Dick Costolo is trying to boost his company’s users to compete with more popular social-media sites like Facebook, with 1.4 billion users.
