Samsung is gearing up to launch its new smartphone Galaxy Xcover 5 smartphone. The Xcover series comprises phones that have a hard exterior and may protect the phone from any sudden damage. An expected member of the series – the Galaxy Xcover 5 along with its specifications were recently spotted on the Google Play Console.

The new smartphone’s design reveals that it has thick bezels on both the top and bottom and has a coloured button on left.
Key Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 will sport a 5.3-inch 720×1480 LCD accompanied by Gorilla Glass 6. The phone will be powered by Exynos 850 chipset. It will support an FHD+ resolution with a screen density of 340 dpi. The phone will run Android 11 and ARM Mali G76 GPU graphics.
The phone will include IP68 water and dust resistance shield and for extreme elements, it is MIL-STD 810G certified. Xcover 5 supports dual SIM and is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of external storage. It comes with a 3000mAh battery with 15W charging support. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C.
The Galaxy Xcover 5 will house a single rear camera with a 16MP primary sensor (f/1.8).
The price of the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 5 could be set at Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 26,000. The smartphone will launch soon, according to the reports.
