New Android Oreo beta update for Galaxy S8/S8+ is now being rolled out by Samsung. As the S.Korean Giant is on the verge of winding up the Android beta program for Galaxy S8/S8+ soon. There lies a greater probability for this release to be one among final. The latest build enlists software version of ZRA5, and is nearly stable with only few known bugs.
Ever since Samsung started the beta testing of latest Android Oreo, it’s been thoroughly debugging the customized Android Oreo skinned by Samsung Experience 9.0. Same has done in this release as well with fixing major and even the minor one’s camouflaged in the previous updates. Well, no UI changes or revamping of Samsung Experience, as it seems Samsung had already finalized the look of Android Oreo for its devices.
Most notably, latest January 2018 security patch is bundled in this beta package. In case if you don’t know, Samsung releases its own modified security patch comprising of both fixes from Google as well as the Samsung specific fixes. As per the source, the update is now live for Indian Galaxy S8/S8+ users participated in beta program. But, it must be available in other region as well where the beta’s second phase was announced. That being said, Samsung had earlier confirmed that the beta programme will be officially closed on January 15. Hence, as earlier stated the new beta build could be the final beta release.
