It has been almost three months when Samsung released Galaxy S8 and S8+ as its flagship devices for 2017. The devices were praised all around for their build quality and stylish looks. Moreover, the devices pack all top-notch specs with latest features available in the market. The handsets since their initial release, have already seen quite a few updates with latest security patches being rolled out on a timely basis.
At this time, T-Mobile is rolling out a new update for Galaxy S8 and S8+ that also includes July security patch. According to T-Mobile, the update comes with build number G950USQU1AQGA for the Galaxy S8 and G955USQU1AQGA for the S8+ model.
The update weighs around 136MB in size and improves security of your device with stability improvements and bug fixes. T-Mobile also says that you should also expect a “UMTS 911 update.” If you own a Galaxy S8 or S8+, we suggest you download the update as soon as you receive it. You may head to Settings > System Update to update your device.
Before updating make sure to connect to WiFi connection for better stability. It will further allow you to save carrier charges. Along with try to charge up your battery upto 70% to install the update without any issue.
