It seems Samsung has rushed to plug the big hole found with the Blueborne bug and so we might see the September patch included in the October fix. The update tips the scales to 476 MB and appears as build number G955FXXU1AQI7. As in other countries, it also brings stability improvements to the Navigation bar and wireless charging. The update will normally arrive OTA so need to do manual updates. The update will normally arrive OTA so need to do manual updates. In case you want to do that, there are two ways. One is through the Settings menu > Software updates. The other is through Samsung Smart Switch using a PC.
There is also an app to check if the Blueborne bug is sealed for good after the update. Download it and run it after the update to double check if your phone is safe. The update might take some days to arrive, so be patient.
