Samsung Galaxy S5 is out for some time now, and rumors of a higher end version named the ‘Galaxy S5 Prime’ and another ‘Google Play Edition’ too have been around for quite some time now. And now, news is out that both these devices have received Bluetooth SIG certification.
If rumors are to be believed, Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime would feature a QHD display, better specs than its predecessor the Galaxy S5 and a body cast fully in metal. The Prime would be numbered SM-G906 and would be available in five colors, namely black, white, gold, blue and pink. Another variant of the GS5 numbered SM-G900FG hints to the Google Play Edition being in production line, the extra ‘G’ referring to the Google Play Edition.
The GS5 Google Play Edition will be made available across the globe but with stock Android. There is no news yet on the pricing of either of the variants.
