The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 could have better Air Gestures as well as support for passive Stylus input. And the credit goes to the advanced touch controller that has been supplied by Synaptics.
According to a release yesterday by Stifel, which addressed that the company was successful in getting a deal for touch controllers for the galaxy S5. And also likely the Galaxy S4 and Note 3 had controllers from Synaptics as well. Also according to a Korean IT news Portal, this new controller will be improving the hover gestures, also known as the air gestures, that were featured in the Galaxy S4.
Also it will be bringing in support for stylus input to the major upcoming devices from Samsung this year, including the galaxy S5 off course. And it will make the Air View also more reliable and accurate compared to it’s version found in the Galaxy S4. Though there is no concrete proof that Galaxy S5 would have the support for Passive Stylus, but it’s pretty obvious too.
