A French carrier has released the details and the schedule of the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3. This carrier also leaked the news about the Android 4.3 Update for the S4 and Galaxy S3 which was rolled out recently.
The company has itself not announced anything about the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the devices, but the SFR ( A French Carrier) has released the details, and according to them the update would be rolling out in late January. So also the KitKat update for the devices would also roll out in the same time period, may be a bit early , may be a bit late.
Although the GPE edition of the Galaxy S4 had already received the KitKat treatment, 4.4.2 version to be precise. And it has lesser modifications which also makes it faster. Also the non GPE devices like the LG G2 are also being treated with the KitKat flavor. While on the other hand Sony has already announced the devices that would be getting the update, but there was no news about the Dates of Update schedule.
