After the whole exploding batteries fiasco, Samsung is finally getting back on track with Note7. The device has been relaunched with safer batteries and customers have already started getting their new devices. If reports are to be believed, India will soon be added to the list of countries as there’s a high probability the device will be relaunched in India on October 7th. Interestingly, rival company Apple’s flagship iPhone 7 will also launch on the same day in India.
This would not exactly be a relaunch for the device in India as Samsung issued a global recall of all the units sold the same day Note7 was supposed to go on sale in India. This could be the reason why the report also mentions that Samsung is “readying for a high-voltage relaunch, with an all-round media campaign covering television, print and digital media.”
