The Galaxy Note 10 series namely, Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus units in the US are receiving the June 2021 security patch. The update for the Galaxy Note 10 can be identified by firmware version N975USQS6FUE3, whereas the number varies to N970USQS6FUE3 for Note 10 Plus.
The changelog does not mention anything new apart from the bump in safety level. Also, Samsung is yet to detail its June patch, but it does not carry any new features or enhancements. As with previous levels, this as well will address several fixes for the Android OS and will also resolve numerous risks from Samsung’s own software.
The changelog of this update is currently unavailable. As it is a security patch update, it might include Optimizations, Bug fixes, improvements, etc. In case if the company adds any new features via this update then you will be experiencing them while using your device.
As usual, the OTA update is rolling out in batches so you might have to wait for a while to grab the new build. But, you can always track it manually by heading to the phone’s Settings -> About phone -> Software updates -> Check for updates and tap Download and install if the new version pops up.
