For Samsung Galaxy J7 Max users, new security patch has been kicked off by the South Korean smartphone maker. The security patch contains the latest security update for the device. Being the first month of the year, Samsung sent the security patch to mid-range smartphones. And the first among them is Galaxy J7 Max.
The firmware version of the new security update is G615FUDDU1AQL4. Apart from the security patch the update does not add any other feature except the security patch. The security patch for the month January 2018. It is an OTA update and if you haven’t received it then you can wait you will get it soon. And it is highly recommended to update your device since it will update the device’s security level.
Samsung J7 Max smartphone was launched 7 months back and had Android 7.0 Nougat installed. Whether the device will get the latest Android 8.0 Oreo or no we aren’t sure.
It has a 5.7 inch Full HD display, and a fingerprint sensor too. The RAM is 4GB and an internal memory of 32GB. The camera of the device is also pretty fine. It is 13 MP front for some high quality selfies and a 13 MP rear camera.
But do remember to keep your device 50% charged as well as backup it before you install the update.
