A few hours ago, the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus Lite and Galaxy XCover 5 secured new updates. After them, the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Tab Active2 become the latest devices to join the July 2021 Security Patch update party.
Discussing the Galaxy Fold update first, the July 2021 Security Patch has started hitting on the firmware number F900FXXS5EUF3. At the moment, the firmware is limited only to the Galaxy Fold France users. And unfortunately, the changelog of this update remains a mystery right now. Nonetheless, as it is a regular monthly patch, we can expect known bug fixes, improvements, and minor changes.
Forthcoming to the Galaxy Tab Active2’s update, it dispatches with some July 2021 Security Patch and some changes related to the Application of terminal security-related stabilization code. Besides these, Samsung has not added any features or other changes to the device. If the company adds any noticeable changes, then you will be undergoing them while operating your smartphone.
As always, the updates are following the greyscale rollout. It means a set of random users will start receiving the update now, and after successful verification of the firmware that it doesn’t include any bugs or issues, all units will start receiving it. Meantime, the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Tab Active2 from the regions as mentioned earlier can steer to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates.
