Galaxy F With 4.7″ Metal Body Scheduled For August: Korean Media

This device has had numerous leaks and they just don’t seem to stop. Yes guys, we are talking about the Galaxy F and we say so because we have another piece of information about the smartphone and if this rumor is to be believed, it will be release under the name Galaxy Alpha.

This piece of information comes from Korea Herald, whose posts are usually reliable.

Word is that Samsung is preparing a series of metal-built smartphones to pitch them against Apple’s larger iPhone models. And this series will be named the Samsung Alpha, which was earlier named as the Galaxy F. This rumor is further fueled by the fact that Samsung trademarked the “Galaxy Alpha” name at the beginning of last month.

The Galaxy Alpha will reportedly sport a 4.7″ superAMOLED screen, a metal body and an Exynos 5 octa-core processor. It is also rumored to be thinner than the Galaxy S5 (8.1 mm) and the iPhone 5s (7.6 mm) coming in at just 6 mm thick.

We’ll keep you updated about the Galaxy Alpha and all other devices that we hear about. So stay tuned.
