Samsung has pushed the Android 11 on many devices in the last few months. The brand is coming out to be the best when it comes to regular updates. Samsung updated their flagship S series and Note series first and then the mid-range smartphones. Now, Samsung is pushing the new Android 11 based One UI to budget devices too. Recently, Galaxy A20 and A30s started receiving the new Android 11 based One UI.

Both devices were launched back in 2019 with Android 9.0 out of the box. Galaxy A30s received Android 10 in March last year while the Galaxy A20 received it too in the same year. Both the devices are being updated at a regular interval. Now, these devices are receiving the new update with the latest security patch. The Galaxy A20 is receiving the June 2021 security patch and the Galaxy A30s is receiving the May 2021 security patch.
Both the devices are receiving a major Android update with new firmware versions. The Galaxy A20 units in Russia and India are receiving the update with firmware version A205FNPUUACUF1Â and A205FXXUACUF3 respectively. The Galaxy A30s is receiving it with the firmware version A307FNXXU2CUF2 in Russia. We don’t have the entire changelog with us right now. But, it is sure that the devices are receiving the major One UI 3.0 features like One-time permission, improved AOD, and the revamped UI.
We don’t have any information about other regions. Other regions may receive the update soon. For now, users in respective countries can update their units by checking for updates manually. For manual checking, you have to navigate to Settings » Software update and check for updates. You can also wait for the update notification, but it may take time as the update is pushed in a phased manner.
