While Samsung is busy testing the One UI 5.0 skin iteration for some smartphones, the company did not forget its older devices. On that note, the Galaxy A11 is picking a major software update with Android 12. To recall, this is a two-year-old budget device that was launched with Android 10 out of the box.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A11 is bundled with the firmware version A115FXXU3CVI3. As of now, it is rolling out in Sri Lanka, but we can expect it to expand to other regions as well. Also, it seems like the last major upgrade for the smartphone. After this update, the device might get security patches, but will not get any new major Android versions.
Needless to say, the Android 12 OS is layered with One UI Core 4.1 skin iteration on top. As for changes, the package packs the Material You Color Palette. It coordinates your home screen wallpaper and applies the primary colors to various UI elements. This makes it more personalized and customized. The other features include improved privacy, widget styling, widget picker UI, improved dark theme mode, new animations, enhanced stock apps, new camera traits, and a lot more. Moreover, it increases the system security by integrating the August 2022 security patch.
