Getting amazing response from Asia, HTC is rolling out its mid-range phone Desire 816 in European countries. Romania was the first, the rest are yet to follow.
The phone is priced at 1299RON which would be 405$. The Romanian version supports dual sim which may not be available in other countries. The phone boats of a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor and 1.5GB of RAM to accompany it. Its 13MP primary camera is speculated to have better resolution that that of its elder sibling and the company’s flagship smartphone, the HTC One M8.
A 5MP front camera is also present. The battery backup could prove to be good with the a 2600mAh battery in place. 8GB internal memory does not seem enough to hold all your content in place but no worries, it could be expanded through a microSD card slot. The 5.5″ screen is quite decent and offers resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Can this phone impress its potential buyers? We’re yet too find out.
