Essential Phone is one of the most anticipated smartphone of the year 2017. After all Android’s creator, Andy Rubin created it. Essential promised to launch the smartphone in June but the company missed the deadline. Regarding the delay, Andy Rubin relayed a message stating that Essential Phone will be available for all the registered buyers in a few weeks (August?).
With all the teasers and hype, Andy Rubin’s startup smartphone company, Essential gained a lot of attention with bezel-less smartphone but they failed to provide prompt delivery of the device. The message states that the phone is now going through carriers certifications and testing which means the final product along with software is almost finished. But the disappointing thing is that they are not giving exact release date of the smartphone.
In case if you don’t remember, Essential is a startup smartphone company started by the man who created Android and Essential Phone is their first smartphone device. Essential Phone has very unique bezel-less design and solid build quality. The smartphone will retail for $749 in the US. It has 5.71 inch display, 4 GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 3040 mAh battery.
