The smartphone packs a 5.7 inch quad-HD edge-to-edge display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display looks stunning with resolution of 2560 x 1312 pixels and 19:10 aspect ratio.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset clocked at 2.45 GHz and Adreno 540 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone houses a 3,040mAh battery that supports fast charging.
The smartphone offers a dual-rear camera setup with 13MP Dual RGB camera sensor along and a 13MP Mono camera sensor with image fusion technology. It boasts an 8MP front-facing camera capable of recording 4K videos.
The Essential runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with no bloatware. The device comes with all the latest specs and therefore, offers great performance.
It is currently available for pre-order in the US with a price tag of $699. In the upcoming months, the smartphone will be made available globally.
