Back in April, a teardown done on Google App unearthed the possible existence of a Google Assistant powered device, Bisto. Some point later, it was revealed that the Bisto actually may not be a single device/wearable. Instead comprises of different devices that utilises Google Assistance, branded under a common name – Bisto.
Similarly, a teardown was also conducted on the latest iOS beta version(1.0.9006) of Google Assistance app this Monday. The teardown proved to be very informative. It necessarily provided the possible design of the headphones that OEM’s could designate. A GIF file sourced from the iOS Google app points out to an over-the-ear headphone form-factor.
The GIF animation is of an over-the-ear headphone with a button on the cup for activating Google Assistant. It also specifies the way how users will have to press and hold on the button to issue voice commands.
Since the demo is for OEM’s, to help them out develop their Bisto headphones. It doesn’t mean that Google won’t come up with its own Bisto wearable. Most probably a first-party headphones by the firm is on the way.
The search-giant Google is diligent in fully exploiting the potential of one of its best creations- the Google Assistance. The Bisto being a mode to create an ecosystem comprising of various smart devices revolving around the Google Assistance.
