Samsung software might not be as fluid as its competitors, but it’s undeniable fact that they make the Android more customizable, controllable and feature packed. Samsung’s OneUI is one of the beautifully designed, smartest adaptation of Android. On the top of that, Samsung makes great Android apps which are literally unavailable on any of its competitors. As such, the Korean Giant has added a new family of apps for its devices dubbed as Galaxy Labs.
Galaxy Labs, similar to Good Lock comprises of child apps performing various functions and duties. As of now there are four apps: File Guardian, Battery Tracker, Battery Guardian, and App Booster. All these apps are meant for carrying out certain optimization and some additional features for the Samsung devices running OneUI 1.0 or later devices. Perhaps, the functionalities offered by the apps are similar to the basic features which Samsung had added to the latest OneUI 2.0
For instance, the Battery Tracker child app of Galaxy Labs is nothing but gives detailed battery statistics not just of today, but also of the last 7 days. If you’re unaware, this is one of the few things which is in-built on OneUI 2.0. Similarly, the File Guardian is yet another useful app but of which functions similar to the recycle-bin feature of My Files app on OneUI 2.0.
Coming to the remaining two plugins, the Battery Guardian and the App Booster. Well, the former is just a simple adaptation of the Battery option of Device Care. Whereas the latter does the job of what it says, eventhough considerable time is needed for the app to “boost” the performance.
The Galaxy Labs is available on Galaxy Store but not everywhere. In case if it’s not available in your region, no worry as you can download and sideload them from the link given below.
