OnePlus offers close to stock Android experience on their smartphones with their Oxygen OS. But, they also include their apps specially designed for their device lineup. One of them is their Gallery app which now is updated to version 2. This update brings new User Interface including a new places tab which shows your geo-tagged photos on the map.
The app is now revamped with three tab interface which includes Photos, Collections and Places. The tab is located at the bottom with icons and text label to differentiate each view. The Photos tab will display your photos in a chronological order, whereas the Collections tab will display the images in terms of albums based on the folders they are located. Finally, the all new Places tab will display your geo-tagged photos on maps based on the locations they were taken.
The Oneplus Gallery v2 update does not bring any further changes with Photos, Collections or Editor except for the new tab interface and the Places view. Even, the app still does not support theme installed on your device. Anyways, the app listing on the Play Store still says it is on version 1.2.1, so if you want to try this new update simply download it from the link provided below and install in your device.
