Bonfire is a group video chat app by the social giant Facebook targeted at teen audience. This new app was first made available for iOS in September. But, now finally it can be installed on your Android smartphones too.
The Bonfire app is now listed on Google Play Store but it is geo-restricted as of now. That means it is only available in handful regions, however you can download the APK from the link below to use this new app from Facebook.
This app is dedicated to video calling and it is aimed at younger audience. One can video call 7 friends at a time which means 8 users can simultaneously communicate with each other. If a group video call is initiated, any member can add their friends to the call which maybe kind of weird for some users. Therefore, Bonfire provides an option to allow only your friends to add you in a group video call. The app also provides video effects / filters and stickers which can be applied anytime during the call. Further, you can capture pictures in the video call and they can be directly shared to Facebook and Instagram.
Facebook is extending the features of its Android Apps, be it Messenger, Facebook Group app and others. Now, another action with the name of Bonfire which is now offiicially available from the Play Store.
