DigiLocker updated to work with Android Pie, bug fixes and more
DigiLocker is Government of India’s one of the key initiative to bolster the digital transformation across the nation. Indeed, it’s a revolutionary platform by which issuance and verification of official documents & certificates can be done in a digital way with much ease and paper-free. But, at the same time, it’s far from perfect and a lot of improvements done. As such in a bid to perfect the DigiLocker app, a new update is being rolled out with many fixes.
WHAT’S NEW
1. The application is now compatible with Android Pie. 2. Fixed folder download issue. 3. Fixed Aadhaar linking issue for Non-Aadhaar users. 4. Other bug fixes.
The latest DigiLocker 5.0.5 is live on the Google Play Store. It’s a noteworthy update as the app is now fully compatible with Android Pie. Since the devices running Android Pie are going to increase in number in coming days, it’s a much-needed upgrade.
The DigiLocker app for Android has been notorious for the bug fixes and poor optimizations. Frequently, users encountered issues in one or another way. Nonetheless, the development team is working hard to make the app bugs-free and it’s visible on the current update. With many much-needed fixes for the bugs and other minor improvements.

Not yet compatible with pir
Might be a bug. Expect an update soon with fix. BTW, I didn't have any problem installing it on my device running Android Pie.
