After Hardware battle now its time for software. Apple accuses Samsung of copying Apple’s icon designs in Samsung’s Touchwiz UI based on Android. Apple also provided comparison between icons of both softwares. Samsung showed off Telephone app icon, iTunes logo, Settings icon, Notes icon, Photos icon and Contact icon (via Cnet). The “settings” icon, for instance, might not be a slam-dunk for infringement; not only is the design substantially different, but gears (or maybe a wrench) are pretty common graphical indicators for such options. But other icons are something similar to Apple ones. So this time its harder for Samsung to prove them wrong.its strong case from Apple’s side. But guys what you think about it?
