After the CyanogenMod 9 Trebuchet launcher we’ve seen at the end of last year there were some bits hinting towards a CyanogenMod music href=”http://www.apple.com/iphone/apps-for-iphone” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”App Store”>app. We knew it will be coming to the href=”http://www.android.com/market/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Android Market”>Android Market once finished with all the features, enhancements and tweaks (shaking your phone to skip to the next song or control play/pause, custom notification area controls, the ability to search the Android Market, set ringtones and more).
It’s not just yet up in the Android Market but its nevertheless available to download by following the source link. It looks pretty much like the stock Music app but there are a truckload of features added: buy the currently playing song from the Android Market, share what you’re listening to with your friends, set a song as ring tone, delete unwanted tracks, search music from anywhere in the app, etc.
Take all the above one step further with the ability to customize the player using different themes. Controls are tied to actions (which are customizable too) so you can flip the phone overto play and pause your music. There’s also a shake action and much more so if you’re interested in the full details, hit up the source link where you’ll also find the download link (until the app gets to the Market).
