ZTE’s wholly-owned subsidiary named Nubia launched its new gaming smartphone – Red Magic 6s under the Red Magic brand. It comes with top-notch specifications and can be compared with other top-tier gaming devices like the Asus Rog series. Today, we will compare the Asus Rog Phone 5s vs Red Magic 6S Pro. Apart from differences, both these smartphones have many things in common. To begin with, both features the same SoC, i.e., the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus.

Also, both the devices run on Android 11 out of the box. However, the Asus Rog Phone 5s runs on Rog UI and the Red Magic 6S Pro on Red Magic OS. Further, both these smartphones have the top-end model with 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Red Magic 6S Pro is lighter and also is slim when compared to the Rog Phone 5s. The similarities continue in the camera section too, i.e., both have a primary 64MP sensor. Asus has a Sony IMX 686 sensor and has a higher 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor & a 5MP macro sensor. At the same time, the primary sensor is not mentioned by the Red Magic brand. It features a lower 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a depth sensor. Both get a similar charging speed, i.e., Asus has support for 65W, and Red Magic supports 66W. However, the China version of Red Magic features supports higher 120Hz fast charging tech. Both have a similar connectivity option, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, 5G, and more. Further, both get an in-display fingerprint scanner.
