Chrome Android App Receives Update Lands

Chrome browser for Android gets a small update which has fixed some bugs in order to improve its performance. They have improved many functionalities along with HTML 5 support. To get the latest version of the app head over to the play store link from the bottom of the article.

In detail new version of Chrome for Android includes improved text font clarity and stability fixes in addition to with better scrolling performance. Developers have also added some cures to increase responsiveness when zooming on pages. Some more changes are as follows:

  • Faster interactive pages thanks to the latest version of the V8 javascript engine
  • Audio now continues to play while Chrome is in the background. Audio playing in Chrome will now pause when the phone is in use. This requires an additional permission
  • Expanded support for HTML5 features
