Nokia promised two years of Android updates to their new smartphone lineup. And it seems, they are keeping up with those promises by updating their all the smartphones with monthly security patches. As November has started, the Nokia 6 with model nos. TA1000 and TA1003 already started receiving the November security patch.
This new update weighs around 150 MB and it does not bring any visual changes. But,it fixes the KRACK vulnerability which enables hackers to access your data via WiFi. This vulnerability is due to some flaws in the WPA2 protocol.
On the other hand, Android Oreo update for the Nokia 6 is just around the horizon. Because, Nokia 8 is soon to receive the stable Oreo update confirmed by Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global. Nokia 6 is next in the line to receive the Oreo update, at least beta.

Nokia 6 is the first true Android smartphone from the company excluding those X series smartphones with heavily skinned Android. It paved the way for Nokia’s return into smartphone business after a long break. The best thing about this smartphone is that it has great build and offers stock Android. And as promised, Nokia is delivering the updates regularly even to their lowest offerings Nokia 3 and Nokia 2.
