We shouldn’t have to elucidate all those initial hiccups happened for Galaxy Fold. In effect, you all very well know the PR nightmare which Samsung had gone through to address the usability of the device. Learning by the fault of Samsung, Motorola is taking no chance and have put forth a How to Care video on its upcoming Moto Razr.
Unlike the Fold which folds inward horizontally, Moto Razr has a vertically folding display. The piece-de-resistance of the Razr however is the folding mechanism which as per Moto will likely reduce the formation of crease on the folding axis.
The new video with the title Caring for Razr was published by Motorolo US on YouTube. It basically showcases certain infographics on how the potential users have to pamper the gadget so that damages can be avoided as much as possible. It’s a neat move, but also an explicit confirmation that Moto Razr too will be a delicate device despite its robust mechanism.
Nonetheless, there is no doubt the Razer will be more durable than the Fold. But as of the bumps and lumps on the screen, both the Fold and Razr can’t help much as these imperfections are inevitable in first gen foldables. We’ve to get over it, or just wait for what Samsung has up its sleeve with the Galaxy Z Flip which is rumored to come with thin glass display rather than the pOLEDs.
