After introducing their flagship smartphone the Galaxy S5 to the high-end smartphone market, Samsung is now turning to the mid-range smartphone market with their recently launched smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Avant.
Samsung launched this device today and it will be available through T-Mobile. The Galaxy Avant offers decent specs at not-so-high prices and is aimed at people who want to opt for a low-budget phone rather than the costly flagship, the Galaxy S5. The device packs a 4.5″ qHD display that offers a resolution of 960 X 540. Under the hood lies a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1.5 GB of RAM. It also gets you some of Galaxy S5’s features for a much smaller amount of money like the S Vocie service, Smart Switch and Easy Mode.
The storage memory and the cameras on the galaxy Avant still remain a mystery and we’ll know more once the device is listed on T-Mobile’s website. The device is now available from T-Mobile’s stores and there are two ways you can get your hands on it: shell out $216 or pay $9 a month.
