The BlackBerry KEYone is the latest flagship from the Canadian company now backed by TCL. And since its release, the device has been rated by reviewers and even Android users very well. With the KEYone, Blackberry has managed to fuse the best of its own with Android. And the response is very positive. The device recorded a high pre-order booking in Canada. But recently, one hardware issue was noticed by users.
The screen of the handset was reported to be pulled off or even fall off with very little effort. The problem seems to be the adhesive used to stick the display with the chassis. Well, TCL has noticed the issue. And the manufacturer has announced on Twitter, that they are now shipping new models to retailers that are not plagued with this particular problem. The actual hardware defect crept up after sales and Blackberry noticed it last month. However, the company was quick to resolve the matter.
Moreover, TCL has also clarified that they will also be replacing previous devices with the defect as they would still be under warranty. And those customers who want to replace their handsets should contact BlackBerry to start the replacement process. The new stock should be reaching retailers and will continue to ship throughout summer.
