The Blackberry device codenamed as Krypton has been detected on the FCC. The handset has been in the news earlier too as it passed through the Wi-Fi Alliance certification. Moreover, the alleged upcoming handset has picked up Bluetooth SIG certifications as well. With all these green signals, it surely seems that the phone is very close to being official.
Even after these sightings, we don’t have anything concrete proof when it comes to the design or specs of the phone. We once again turned to the rumored specs for better overhaul of the upcoming device. Talks amongst Blackberry circles is that this could be an all touch phone and come with a Full HD screen. The exact size is not known but it should be something around 5.2-5.5 inches. A Snapdragon 625 along with 4GB of RAM prove that this is going to be alleged mid range phone.
It should run on Android Nougat and might come with a 4,000 mAh battery. It could also house a fingerprint scanner at the front embedded in the home button. But these are rumors and we would advise readers to take them with a pinch of salt.
The phone is internally known as Krypton, as the FCC filing shows. However, it is expected to debut in the DTEK series and be named the DTEK70. But that’s just our 6th sense. The internal photos, test setup images, and user manuals can’t be shared by the FCC because they are bound by a confidentiality agreement, says Crackberry who reported the sighting.
