The Canadian smartphone maker, BlackBerry may launch its latest Android smartphone, KEYone in India on August 1st. BlackBerry started sending out press invite for an event in New Delhi and we are expecting that in this event BlackBerry will launch KEYone for Indian market. The press invite has tagline “Do more. Different” which is same tagline the company used for international launch of BlackBerry KEYone.
Talking about BlackBerry KEYone, it is manufactured by TCL which is hardware partner of BlackBerry. The device has 4.5 inch IPS LCD display of resolution 1080 x 1620 pixels which makes pixel density of 433 ppi. On the front, the device has physical QWERTY keyboard. BlackBerry KEYone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system (Google Assistant out of the box) and it is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The smartphone has 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM and microSD card slot which supports cards up to 256 GB.
BlackBerry KEYone has 12 MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash. On the front, the device has 8 MP camera. The device has non removable 3505 mAh battery which is more than enough for heavy use.
BlackBerry KEYone is not for everyone! It is for users who still prefer legendary physical QWERTY keyboard for writing long emails. Multimedia and gaming experience of BlackBerry KEYone is not good enough because of odd screen resolution.
