BBC iPlayer Radio Global Rollout Starts

BBC is rolling out its iPlayer Radio worldwide and now available for download from Play Store. Currently, It’s only available in Ireland today, but the rollout should continue to the rest of the globe in short order.

BBC Radio already have 66 million listeners around the world. BBC App will open default to the English station, but you can spin the dial to access more BBC radio streams. The app is going to have features for most non-UK listeners including live streaming, a 30-day archive of broadcasts, offline podcasts, schedules, an alarm clock, and more.

There are some of the features that will not work for international users. One of them is that you can’t save any stream for offline use.

In upcoming time, more countries will be added soon.
