AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G starts receiving Android 11 update

Samsung rolled out Android 11 to Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy S7+ last month. However, some US carriers users had to wait for a couple of weeks more to undergo the Android 11 update for Galaxy Tab S7 whereas Galaxy Tab S7+ owners acquired the update a few days after Samsung announced it for unlocked devices.

Meanwhile, AT&T users had to stand by even longer as the update is released today for Galaxy Tab S7 5G (model SM-T878U). The new update comes with the latest Android 11 features like chat bubbles, refreshed user interface, conversations section and much more. There are several One UI 3.0 based features which are bundled in the update including improved split-screen, wireless keyboard sharing and the ability to share content effortlessly across Galaxy devices. It also hosts the February 2021 security patch to enhance the security and stability of the device.

As often the OTA update is seeding out in a phased method that weighs around 2.8 GB in size. The user can manually check for the update by heading via settings > software update.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G

Galaxy Tab S7 was launched last year on August 5 featuring 11-inch screen while running Android 10-based OneUI 2.5. The tab includes a Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865+ (7 nm+) chipset coupled with Octa-core CPU and Adreno 650 GPU. If we talk about the camera, it consists of a dual primary camera which includes 13MP wide + 5MP ultrawide and a single 8MP front camera. The device is available in 128 GB + 6 GB RAM, 256 GB + 8 GB RAM and 512 GB + 8 GB RAM storage variants.
