ASUS Zenfone AR starts receiving an Update with Android Pay support

ASUS Zenfone AR which was launched earlier this year. Today the phone starts receiving an important update in which Zenfone AR gets Android Pay support. However, The app will only show up in regions where Android Pay is currently available.

The update also includes the Android security patch for the month of May 2017. Along with security Patch the update also includes some other improvements in the phone. Which includes the camera performance, the update will remove the PhotoCollage and MiniMovie features included in the device’s gallery.

Here is the full Catalog of Update:

1.Improved performance of Camera app.
2.Preload BeautyLive APP.
3.Security patch update to May 2017.
4.Add Android Pay app
*The app is only available in the countries support Android Pay.
5.Do It Later app and the data stored in the app will be removed after the system upgrade. Please backup your data before upgrading the system.
6.ZenFit app and the related information will be removed after the system upgrade. If you would like to continue use the ZenFit app, you can download it from Google Play Store.
7.Please kindly complete your creation and save your collages to Gallery. The magazines, stickers and other files related with PhotoCollage will be removed after the system upgrade. If you would like to continue use PhotoCollage, you can download it from Google Play Store.
8.Please kindly complete your creation and export your movies to Gallery. The theme packages, music, scripts and other files related with MiniMovie will be removed after the system upgrade. If you would like to continue use MiniMovie, you can download it from Google Play Store.
9.Add the following third-party apps:
1) Towers For Tango
2) Twilight Pioneers
3) Marvel Future Fight
4) Asphalt 8
10.Remove the following third-party apps:
1) Archer E Bowman
2) Hunters Gate
3) Wands

 The update is rolling out in stages so don’t panic it doesn’t reach you yet. However, you can check it manually by going through settings>> about phone>> software update. For a reminder, while downloading the update use WiFi network as it is a large update and may consume you mobile data. Moreover, Charge your phone up to at least 50% before starting of installation.
