Asus ZenFone 7 and 7 Pro are receiving another update this month after receiving the stable Android 11. The smartphones are getting another update in the same month as the stable Android 11 had bugs and therefore had to be delayed for the time being.

Asus stays behind when it comes to delivering system updates to its devices. The last Android 11 update for ZenFone 7 and 7 Pro had heavy bugs, as per the issues reported by the users. Later, the Asus forum also confirmed that the new builds are bugged and have to be delayed as of now.
“Updates have been delayed since we have found issues with the latest two updates. Once the new update is approved for EU/WW. RU FOTA will follow shortly after.”
The new update
After the delay, the company is releasing another update for the ZenFone 7 (ZS671KS) and 7 Pro (ZS670KS). The update carries firmware version 30.41.69.51Â and is said to bring many changes to the system. It brings several improvements and fixes to the vulnerable issues of smartphones.
It improves the performance of the camera and brings stability to the Wi-Fi connectivity. Many system enhancements come along with the new update.

Asus is now rolling out the update again after the delay and will do so in batches as of now. It will soon conduct a wider rollout for the update if no problem surfaces with this version of the update. The update now has the approval of EU/WW but will the FOTA take some time. Till then the users of the devices can navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and Install the new update.
