Asus has finally started spinning out the August 2020 Security Patch update for Zenfone 6 users. The company is frequently updating all of its devices with the latest security patches. Recently, ROG Phone, Zenfone 5, and ROG Phone 3 have picked a similar Security update with firmware version 17.1810.2008.171 and it’s currently limited to Japan only.
According to the changelog, the latest update features only the August 2020 Security Patch. Apart from that, the company has not added any new changes or features. The new update will improve the performance by bringing fixes for known issues, and other loopholes. The changelog of this update is as follows.

The company is seeding the update in a staged manner. It generally takes a week to reach all the devices, but you can manually check the update by heading to Settings>Software updates>Check for updates.
